The Myrtle Beach chapter works to ensure every resident has direct access to their municipal government, meaningful agency over their future, and the ability to hold all power — public, corporate, and algorithmic — accountable.

Organize independent oversight of local municipal spending and decision-making to ensure transparency.

Anti-Federalist Candidates

Recruit and support candidates for mayor and city council who uphold our principles.

Data Sovereignty Ordinances

Push for city-level protections ensuring residents own their digital data and algorithmic transparency is enforced.

Community Broadband

Establish public broadband infrastructure as a utility, ensuring universal internet access regardless of income.

LETTER XVIII.January 25, 1788.Dear sir,I am persuaded, a federal head never was formed, that possessed half the powers which it could carry into full effect, altogether independently of the state or local governments, as the one, the convention has proposed, will possess.
