The Longwood chapter works to ensure every resident has direct access to their municipal government, meaningful agency over their future, and the ability to hold all power — public, corporate, and algorithmic — accountable.

Push for city-level protections ensuring residents own their digital data and algorithmic transparency is enforced.

Community Broadband

Establish public broadband infrastructure as a utility, ensuring universal internet access regardless of income.

Letters of Cato No. 2

Cato (George Clinton) • 1787-10-02

Edited and introduced by After the signing of the Constitution on September 17, 1787, it went to the states for ratification. The document drew both support and opposition, prompting widespread debate. As state ratifying conventions convened, tensions escalated, and divisions concerning the new Constitution deepened. Two groups emerged on either side of the debate: the Antifederalists, who criticized the proposed government, and the Federalists, who advocated it. To promote their respective positions, both groups published pamphlets and essays which played a critical role in shaping the ratification process.
